Meet Our Veterinarians

Lauren Dinsmore

Lauren Dinsmore, DVM

Dr. Lauren Dinsmore took over K-M Regional Veterinary Hospital in 2012 from Dr. Bruce Bordelon. She has enjoyed working alongside Dr. Bruce ever since. They place a special emphasis on compassionate patient care, high-quality medicine, and exemplary client education.

Dr. Dinsmore was born in Panama City, Florida. Her family moved to the suburban Detroit area of Michigan when she was in elementary school. An early love of animals guided her to volunteer at her cat’s veterinarian’s office in high school. Cleaning cages, walking dogs, and getting to watch surgery confirmed that this would become her life’s work.

Dr. Dinsmore earned an undergraduate degree in Biology at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY. Although busy with labs and an externship in a small animal veterinary office, Dr. Lauren also played varsity singles and doubles for the Vassar Women’s Tennis team, earning her the Senior Outstanding Athlete of the Year award. Following graduation, Dr. Dinsmore attended Michigan State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in East Lansing, MI. While at MSU, she participated in three volunteer spay/neuter trips to Native American Reservations in Idaho, Arizona, and Utah and coordinated the student-run Pet Loss Support Hotline.

Dr. Dinsmore spent her first six years in practice working in general medicine and at a 24-hour emergency care hospital in Michigan prior to moving to Minnesota. Her professional interests include ultrasound, soft tissue surgery, dentistry, and emergency medicine.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Dinsmore shares her household with her husband Jason, an attorney for the National Wildlife Federation and Executive Director of the Minnesota Conservation Federation. They have two young, active sons, Logan and Eivin. Of course, there are furry family members as well: two dogs, Dillon (wire-haired pointing griffon) and Teddy (golden retriever), and two rambunctious rescue cats, Gunflint and Puffin.

Molly Anderson-Krahn

Dr. Molly Anderson-Krahn has been in the veterinary profession for over 20 years. She completed her biology degree at Winona State University and received her DVM from the University of Minnesota. Molly enjoys the diverse and exciting field of small animal veterinary medicine and counts client education and dentistry as her favorite aspects. At home, Molly enjoys the company of her husband, two sons, and a rescue dog and cat. In her free time, she is an avid ceramic artist and enjoys cake decorating and reading.

Trevor Otte

Trevor Otte, DVM

Dr. Otte was born and raised about an hour north of the clinic in Randolph, Minnesota. He attended the University of Minnesota for both his undergraduate degree and for veterinary school. Following graduation, Dr. Otte was a mixed-animal veterinarian in Iowa. He returned to Minnesota and transitioned to work exclusively with small animals in 2021. His professional interests include soft-tissue surgery and population medicine. Dr. Otte’s hobbies include cooking, camping, and traveling with his wife, Millie. At home, they have a dog named Pepper and a cat named LouAnn.
