Ultrasound Imaging Services

Ultrasound is a safe and noninvasive diagnostic procedure that allows us to visualize the internal organs of your pet. Every ultrasound is performed by one of our specially-trained veterinarians using advanced equipment at our hospital.

We use the ultrasound to help us quickly identify and located tumors, stones, cysts, and inflammation. We can also use ultrasound to visualize fetal heartbeats during pregnancy, which helps us to make sure your pet’s offspring are developing healthily.

How Does Ultrasound Work?

Ultrasound uses high-frequency sound waves to produce a real-time image of your pet’s internal organs. Results are received in real time from sound waves that travel into the body, returning a 3D image of the internal organs. These high-definition images let our veterinarians to see how the organs are functioning in real time.
