Pet Ultrasound Services

Ultrasound is a form of diagnostic imaging that uses sound waves and echoes to visually depict your pet’s internal organs. These safe and completely noninvasive procedures are performed by our specially-trained veterinarians with the use of advanced equipment.

Taking ultrasounds enables us to quickly identify a wide range of internal health issues, including tumors, stones, cysts, and inflammation. Ultrasound is also critical for caring for pregnant pets, as it allows us to visualize fetal heartbeats and track the development of your pet’s litter.

How Does Ultrasound Work?

Ultrasound sends high-frequency sound waves through your pet’s body, which create echoes that are translated into 3D images of the internal organs. Results are produced instantly from the imaging wand while it is in contact with your pet. These high-definition images give our veterinarians a glimpse at how your pet’s organs are functioning in real-time, enabling them to make a diagnosis with minimal invasiveness.
